After obtaining the Wide Beam in Metroid Fusion, players will be instructed to check the Habitation Deck for survivors. While the in-game map makes reaching this room quite simple, some fans may be unclear about exactly what they should do upon arrival. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and full details on how to approach Metroid Fusion's Habitation Deck can be found in what follows.

Metroid Fusion: Habitation Deck Walkthrough

Metroid Fusion players should begin in the vertical room immediately to the right of the Habitation Deck. Here, fans will find two Funes, which extend from the wall when Samus passes in front of them. During that extension, players should hit the Funes with Ice Missiles, use their frozen bodies to climb to the top of the room, and pass through the door that leads to the Habitation Deck's highest level.

Fans of Metroid games should now make their way to the left and shoot their Beams at the block that is just right of the closed gate. Players should then drop through the hole that they have created, shoot the button on the right to raise the nearby gate, and make their way to the far-right side of this level. From this position, fans should run to the left to activate Speed Booster and break through a block near the far-left wall.

After falling through the hole created by breaking that block, players will be on the Habitation Deck's bottom leve l, and they should pass through the gate on their right to grab a Missile Tank. Fans should then head back to the left and jump into the wall that is on the left. Indeed, there is an open hatch extending from that wall, which allows players to enter a shaft to the left of the Habitation Deck.

In this shaft, players must climb the ladders on the walls and use Ice Missiles to turn the Funes into platforms. When fans of 2D Metroid reach the top, they should pass through the opening on the right to enter an area within the Habitation Deck that was not accessible from the other side. There is a device within this area that players should stand upon to release the "survivors" and open the gate to the right.

At this point, players are free to backtrack to the Navigation Room on the Main Deck in order to receive their next assignment. That assignment centers around making a return trip to Sector 5, and Metroid fans will earn the Power Bomb ability as they work through it.

Metroid Fusion is available on Game Boy Advance and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
