Free time on your Gauntlet Runner in Metaphor: ReFantazio is very useful, and will often be used to rank up your followers or increase your Royal Virtues. While there is a usual formula when traveling, August 16th gives players the chance to have a deep conversation with almost any of their companions.

While you still have the option of doing another Gauntlet Runner activity, engaging in one of these deep conversations will not only give a great character moment but also reward players with a very useful reward; here's everyone you can talk to and what they give as a reward.

All Possible Rewards For 8/16 In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Depending on which character you talk to, you will get a rare accessory, though the difference in these rewards stops at the name. All rewards you can get on 8/16 all give +5 to all stats, so it's basically the same reward across the board despite the name. These rewards can be equipped by any party member, and are not limited to just the protagonist or the person you spoke to. No matter which conversation you do choose to have, you can also earn MAG depending on if you choose dialogue answers the person agrees with most. All the people you can talk to and their rewards are:

Character

Accessory Name

Junah

Aeon Pearl Ring

Fidelio

Handmade Flute

Heismay

Falcon Anklet

Gallica

Rainbow Scale

Strohl

Nacre Bracelet

Hulkenberg

Narwhal's Horn

Basilio

White Sand Rose

Despite being a follower and a part of the group, you can not speak to Neuras during this time as he is driving the Gauntlet Runner.

Who Should You Speak To On 8/16 In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Ultimately, it's up to the player as there are no lasting effects based on who you choose to talk to. You may want to choose who you know best to try and maximize how much MAG you can get, but the accessory rewards will be the same across the board and are not worth any weight in this decision.

You are given a unique situation to have a one-on-one conversation with Fidelio of Basilio as they aren't a part of your group and are mostly treated as antagonists until the battle the day before. If you do care about seeing all these unique character moments, you should create a save file before choosing who to talk to as only one conversation can be chosen and the rest can't be seen in the same playthrough aside from reloading a save file.
