The Prince Archetype is considered one of the strongest in Metaphor ReFantazio, and players will unlock it towards the end of the game. This protagonist-exclusive Royal Archetype features the most powerful abilities in the game. There's also the "His Majesty" trophy tied to the Prince Archetype unlock.
It feels fair that players get access to this powerful Archetype in the late game, as it would have made playing Metaphor ReFantazio a cakewalk. The Prince Arechtype not only has unmatched offensive abilities but also buffs other followers in the party during fights.

There are tons of side missions/quests given by NPCs that players can complete while exploring the different locations in Metaphor ReFantazio.
How To Unlock Prince Arechetype In Metaphor ReFantazio?
To unlock the Prince Arechtype for the protagonist, you'll have to complete the "Prepare For Final Battle" main quest/operation in Metaphor ReFantazio. Once you and your band of followers are having a conversation with the Old Hermitess Gruidae about human tribes, the Mysterious Voice starts communicating with the protagonist. After a short dialog, players get to see the Prince Archetype awaken inside the protagonist.
The best abilities for the prince are undoubtedly the Royal Slash and Hero's Cry. The former lands a devastating blow at the enemy with the sword while the latter adds a whopping 4 Turn Icons. Other abilities of the prince are practically broken, making it the most powerful Archetype in Metaphor ReFantazio.
Although you'll need to rank up the Archetype to unlock all the abilities by engaging in fights, players can also opt to use special items like the Hero's Leaf, Light, or Fruit to boost ranks.
Unlock Prince Archetype Secret Ability
The Prince Archetype's secret skill is called "Armageddon's Final Sire," which is an Almighty synthesis skill that deals 9,999 damage to all enemies. If you want to use this skill, unlock the Royal Archetypes for all followers in the party.
So to unlock this skill, you must first rank up your bond with all followers in your party to at least level 8. This will unlock their Heroic/Royal Archetypes in Metaphor ReFantazio. After doing this, visit More in the Akademeia to obtain an item called, "Chronicle of the End," which will let you use Armageddon's Final Sire secret attack in combat.
