After reaching Port Brilehaven, the party will prove Heismay's innocence, and Joanna will reveal herself as guilty. After the series of cutscenes and partial exploration, players can soon pick up quests and start collecting bounties.

Metaphor: ReFantazio has a total of seven books, out of which six are made available during the main story. The seventh, however, is missable, and players unable to collect it will miss out on the Bookworm Trophy/Achievement on their current playthrough. This guide offers information about the location of The Magical Future book and all the dialogue options that give the highest Royal Virtue.

The Queen of Cusine: Heart is a side quest in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Here is how players can find the ingredients for the dish they need to cook.

How to Get The Magical Future Book in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Once you can move around Port Brilehaven freely, head to Angler's Inn Square, and near the water fountain, you will find Julian with his two subordinates behind him. Talk to him, and there will be two dialogue options. You can pick any option, resulting in Julian giving you his book, The Magical Future.

Players who do not talk to Julian before going to the next area on 8/13 will find out that Julian is gone.

Once you acquire the book, head back to the Gauntlet Runner, and just past the Kitchen, where you can cook recipes, is the Bookshelf containing all of the books you have collected so far. These increase Royal Virtual, making more side quests and interactions with Followers available. Grab The Future of Magic from the Bookshelf and start reading.

Remember that the Gauntlet Runner must be active and moving toward a location or dungeon to read the book. Otherwise, Gallica will suggest that you do activities that are available in the town instead.

Here are all the dialogue when reading the book with the ones that will give you the most Wisdom:

First Read:

  • It's a good idea.
  • It won't work for everyone. (+4 Wisdom)
  • People come before nature.

Second Read:

  • It's a great idea.
  • Immediately is too rash. (+4 Wisdom)
  • Nothing needs to change.

Third Read:

  • Yes... To stay alive.
  • I'd prefer ruin.
  • We have to live and fight on. (+4 Wisdom)

After the final read, you will get an additional +4 Wisdom for completing the book. This will count towards your Bookworm Trophy/Achievement.
