The main trick to getting this achievement is completing a regular playthrough, but sword surf everywhere you go. This may not always have you hit the goal depending on your playstyle, though there are a few locations you can fast travel to and easily sword surf around to quickly travel far distances.
- Grand Trad - Regalith Grand Cathedral: This main plaza of the city offers a large loop with little foot traffic that can easily be surfed around to get the achievement quickly.
- Brilehaven - Merchant's Bazaar: The street that goes through the Merchant's Bazaar to the podium has little foot traffic, leaving you easily loop around and get good mileage in.
There is no way to track this achievement, so it's also not clear if the bug is getting rid of old progress or simply freezing progress at some point. If you just want the trophy and nothing else, do the full shut down then be prepared to surf around one of the two locations mentioned above for anywhere between five and thirty minutes.
