An epic story unfolds in Metaphor: ReFantazio, and players will be at the heart of the events that will shape the world. However, it is not going to be an easy journey, considering that there are many powers at play who are all vying to have their say. Naturally, that means you are going to have to face plenty of resistance, and that means combat.
And it is not just the cannon fodder that you would have to worry about. Challenging bosses can be found whenever you go in the game, and in the early stages of the adventure, one of the bosses awaiting is Zorba the necromancer who is planning some truly evil things. How To Beat Zorba In Metaphor: ReFantazio
The chase to reach Zorbo will see players enter the Grand Regalith Cathedral and try to make their way to the top in Metaphor: ReFantazio. It is by no means an easy task, and the game will warn you before entering the final area so you can choose to rest up and come back another day. If you find yourself low on HP and MP, it would be wise to do just that.
Once you are fighting fit, it is time to look at your party and the Archetypes equipped. It is recommended that you have a Healer or Mage, a damage dealer in the form of the Warrior or Brawler, and a Knight to tank the damage. Hulkenberg can stay as she is, and it is up to you which role the protagonist and Strohl will play. If you are going with the Mage, be sure to inherit the Medi healing skill from the Healer.
Combat Strategy
Confronting Zorbo is not that straightforward, as this boss is capable of dishing out high damage and also summoning undead helpers to do his dirty deeds. The key is not to be distracted, and focus your attacks on him as much as possible.
At the start of your turn, use your most powerful Synthesis attack skill, such as Energy Ray, to attack Zorba. Left with one more Turn Icon, it will likely be Hulkenberg's turn, so you can press the advantage by attacking with her weapon or a skill. Zorba will summon a Corpsethrall on his turn, which will use the other turn to attack.
Following that, be sure to cast Knight's Proclamation to draw the heat from Zorba' growing party, and continue to use your Synthesis attack to focus on the necromancer if you have enough MP. The enemy will also try to disrupt your party with either an Electric spell, or cause the Corpsethralls to go into a rage and raise their attack, but they are not that effective. When any of your party members get too low on health, use the healing skill to bring them back into good health. By focusing all of your attacks on Zorba alone, you can reduce the time needed for the battle and end things as quickly as possible.
