Help the Hushed Honeybee is one such timed quest that becomes available to players in the very early sections of the game. However, completing this seemingly easy task may stump players as it requires finding a rare ingredient, Redgrass. Here's how to find it.
How to Start 'Help the Hushed Honeybee'
To begin this quest, talk to the Young Nidia Man located at the eastern edge of Sunlumeo Street, the same location where you meet Brigitta, the dark-skinned Igniter merchant who gives you the quest to unlock the Merchant Archetype. If a quest marker does not appear at this location, it means you haven't attended the king's funeral yet.
The Young Nidia man will tell you that he needs you to help out at the Hushed Honeybee Inn and inform him what working in a busy kitchen is like as he does not have the free time to do so.
This is a timed quest with a strict deadline of June 19th (6/19). If you fail to complete this task before this point, it will automatically fail, and all rewards will be lost.
Where to Find Redgrass, Bidou Meat, and Prisine Clearwater
To complete 'Help the Hushed Honeybee' in Metaphor: ReFantazio, players will need to find three ingredients to cook the Redgrass-Roasted Bidou, a special dish designed by Fabienne. The ingredients are:
- Redgrass
- Bidou Meat
- Pristine Clearwater
All three ingredients for the Redgrass-Roasted Bidou dish are sold by traders in the market square in front of the Regalith Grand Cathedral in Grand Trad.
Bidou Meat Location
Bidou Meat is sold by the Burly Butcher at Holy Meat, identified by the meat icon above his head. One piece costs 250 Reeve (money).
Pristine Clearwater Location
Pristine Clearwater is sold by the Water Merchant at Entero Watershop in the market square, identified by a water icon above her head. One piece costs 50 Reeve.
Redgrass Location
Redgrass is sold by the Herb-Seller across from the Burly Butcher. Getting this ingredient isn't as straightforward as the others, however, since the merchant will not sell Redgrass, citing that he only does business with regular customers.
The only way to buy Redgrass from the Herb-Seller is to first purchase the 'Secret of the Redgrass' note from Ardea the Informant, who can be found loitering in the Hushed Honeybee Inn at night, standing next to the patrons. This secret note can be purchased for 600 Reeve.
With the note in hand, return to the Herb-Seller and talk to him again. Select the option 'Do you know Grius,' and he will offer to sell you one Redgrass for 150 Reeve or 4 Redgrass for 500 Reeve.

With the ingredients in hand, talk to Fabienne at the Inn at night, and she will give you the option to make Redgrass-Roasted Bidou for her. Agree and click through the prompts to complete the process. Return to the Young Nidia Man in the morning and talk to him to complete the quest. As a reward for completing the quest, you will obtain increased Wisdom, 3 Magla Pills, and 2,000 Reeve.
