With a noble goal of trying to save the kingdom and the prince from a curse, players will venture across the world in Metaphor: ReFantazio in search of every possible way to gain an advantage. Of course, the villainous forces will not just stand by idly while you go about your business. That means plenty of enemies are going to stand in the way, including some difficult and challenging bosses.
During the course of the story, you will find yourself trying to infiltrate the Charadrius, the Gauntlet Runner of Louis, in order to seek the means to end the prince's curse. Trying to stealthily make your way across the giant vehicle is already hard enough, and eventually, your movements will be stopped by none other than Glodell and his hound, Hector. It is imperative that he be put down to not alert Louis to your plans, and thus begin the boss fight.

How To Beat Glodell In Metaphor: ReFantazio (Infiltrate the Charadrius)
This won't be your typical boss fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio, as Glodell will be holding the songstress and covert operative Junah hostage. With only the protagonist to stop him, you will first be subjected to nonstop attacks by the hound. However, do not fret, as this is all part of the story, as Junah will soon awaken her Archetype power, the Masked Dancer, and join you in the fight, making it a fair 2v2 bout.
While it will still take some craft to beat Glodell, you can most certainly prepare well beforehand. Making sure the protagonist is packing an Archetype that is capable of using the elements can be very helpful, so either the Wizard or the Magic Seeker should be your choice. This is so as Glodell is weak to fire, while the hound Hector is susceptible to wind damage.
Combat Strategy
With your preparations done beforehand, the actual battle should be one where players focus their attention on taking down one foe after another instead of trying to battle both. The first target should be Hector, so use your wind magic to deal heavy damage to the hound and retain a Turn Icon. This is also so that it cannot benefit from the buffs conferred on it by Glodell, which can make the battle harder than it needs to be.
Once Hector has been dealt with, it's time to fight Glodell, who is a much more manageable opponent. Target his weakness to fire, using fire magic or Junah's Infernal Vortex to remove large chunks of his HP and give yourself more time to breathe. With enough MP, you can take this fight quite easily if you choose to focus on a single target. Beating the duo will see the usual XP, MAG, and Reeve rewards, alongside a Magician White Mask that can be used later in the game.
