And soon, a game will be released that's only playable on Quest 3 and will be skipping Quest 2 entirely.
Batman: Arkham Shadow is a Quest 3 exclusive, so the Quest 2 is already getting to the point where it's being phased out. The constant new hardware releases have proven overwhelming for some VR enthusiasts, but games should improve as the technology advances, and leaving older hardware behind can help developers improve their experiences without being held back.
