Best Robots in Video Games, Ranked
From cute robotic companions to hostile mechanized menaces, video games have seen all kinds of robots. We've ranked the top ten best of them.
Killshot is a mech that can be classified as a glass cannon. It is extremely fast, with a great dash ability. However, it has very weak armor, especially on the back. Therefore, using Killshot well takes time to master, as the player needs to rely on the speed and agility of the mech to stay alive in this competitive FPS game.

- Rounds: 25
- Reload Speed: 15 Seconds
- Optimal Range: N/A

Arc Torrents are powerful close-range epic weapons, functioning similarly to a taser by discharging electricity at adversaries. Their capacity for rapid, high-damage output makes them formidable tools in PvP combat.
14 Games That Let You Build Robots
Building robots is always a fun time, and these games give players the ultimate robo-construction playgrounds to work with.
Using Arc Torrents on Killshot can work well, as the speed of the mech means the player can often stay well out of range of incoming attacks. Even though Arc Torrents are classified as close-quarters weapons, they still have considerable range, up to 61 meters at max levels.
5 Missile Racks
Bigger Booms
- Rarity: Epic
- Energy Cost: 8
- Type: Missile
- Perk: Alpha Strike
- Traits: N/A
- Fire Rate: 200 RPM
- Rounds: 6
- Reload Speed: 10 Seconds
- Optimal Range: 0–150 meters
- Max Range: 150 meters
- Accuracy: AoE
Missile Racks are highly potent missile-type weapons. These weapons have a considerable range of approximately 150 meters, but it is recommended to use them within 50 meters due to their slow projectile speed.
These are some of the trickier weapons to use well with Killshot. However, once mastered, they can be completely devastating. Once again, the speed of Killshot gives the player the ability to get into position fast, fire off a full barrage, then retreat and reload, in this co-op FPS.
4 Shotguns
Up Close And Personal
- Rarity: Uncommon
- Energy Cost: 2/4/8
- Type: Close Quarters
- Perk: Wide Hit Cone
- Traits: Point Blank, Low Fire Rate
- Fire Rate: 75 RPM
- Rounds: 5
- Reload Speed: 6.8 seconds
- Optimal Range: 0-19 meters
- Max Range: 39 meters
- Accuracy: Low
Shotguns are exceptionally powerful at short distances, with the Shotgun 8 capable of inflicting up to 40,000 damage when used within 20 meters with a full magazine. A five-star shotgun equipped with rare implants can achieve a maximum range of up to 51 meters, which significantly exceeds typical close-range weaponry in Mech Arena.
Killshot is almost the perfect mech to mount shotguns on. Tactically, it should be very obvious how the player needs to use this setup. Killshot has a dash ability and very high speed, so dash in, unload fully on an opponent at point-blank range, then retreat. Rinse and repeat.
3 Javelin Racks
Guided Rockets
- Rarity: Rare
- Energy Cost: 4/6/8/12/16
- Type: Guided
- Perk: Auto Targeting
- Fire Rate: 600 RPM
- Rounds: 4/6/1/8/10
- Optimal Range: 16-75 meters
- Max Range: 75 meters
- Accuracy: Extremely High
Javelin Racks are uncommon guided weapons, distinguished by their lock-on feature, shared only with the Helix Rack in the game. They require a target lock before firing. Once locked, they launch a barrage of missiles that travel in an arc, striking the designated target from above. This trajectory allows the missiles to bypass cover, enabling mechs to remain safely shielded while attacking.
10 Robots That Defined The Mecha Anime Genre
The mech anime genre wouldn't exist in its current form without these legendary robots.
Mounting Javelin Racks on Killshot is one of the most popular builds in the game. The speed and agility of Killshot means the player can leave cover, lock on their weapons, and then head straight back to cover before firing a full barrage. If done properly, no enemy mechs will have time to target the player.
2 Carbines
Burst Fire Weaponry
- Rarity: Legendary
- Energy Cost: 4/6/8/12/16
- Type: Assault
- Perk: Precision, Low Fire Rate
- Fire Rate: 100 RPM
- Rounds: 50
- Reload Speed: 6.2 seconds
- Optimal Range: 0-30 meters
- Max Range: 120 meters
- Accuracy: Medium High
Carbines are classified as assault weapons. They launch high-impact projectiles at a moderate rate and offer considerable accuracy, ensuring that shots align closely with the aiming point. However, due to the relatively low velocity of the projectiles, there is a possibility that fast-moving targets may evade them before impact.
The Best Titans In War Robots
There are a lot of great Titans available in War Robots. Here's a look at the best ones.
For Killshot, Carbines are another hit-and-run style weapon. Dash into range, unload the full magazine and then retreat into cover for the reload. Carbines have more range than other weapons that use this tactic for Killshot, making them a little more flexible.
1 Fragment Guns
Super Shotguns
- Rarity: Rare
- Energy Cost: 14
- Type: Close Quarters
- Perk: Wide Hit Cone
- Fire Rate: 75 RPM
- Rounds: 6
- Reload Speed: 6 seconds
- Optimal Range: 0-11 meters
- Max Range: 27 meters
- Accuracy: Low
Fragment Guns are like beefed-up Shotguns. They differ in two primary ways. Firstly, they are even closer range than shotguns, being effective up to 11 meters from the target. Secondly, they do much more damage than Shotguns.
This is the quintessential weapon for Killshot. It plays to the mech’s strengths perfectly. The player can dash into close range of a target, unload their weapons, and then take stock. In most cases, a single mech won’t survive a full magazine from Fragment Guns, so the player will have time to make their next move. In the rare case where the target is still standing, the player can dash back into cover.
