A secret message from Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered has been discovered, once again showing just how much detail went into designing its world. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is an upgraded version of the original game from 2018, that comes with a number of visual improvements, in addition to much faster loading times.
Since its launch on PS4, and the subsequent releases on PS5 and PC, Marvel’s Spider-Man fans pointed out tons of little details present in the world. As an example, a Marvel’s Spider-Man player shared a neat detail about the Taskmaster’s combat challenges in the game, confirming that gamers can see Taskmaster spectating them as they try to complete this piece of side content. Now, another fan points out a neat detail involving a secret message in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
A Reddit user named karmannoof has shared a couple of images from Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered with this detail, showing a funny warning message present in the game. The second image shows a close-up of the message, as it repeatedly tells players not to put their hands into a machine while it’s on. The message recommends that gamers should instead be spending their time fighting crime and shooting spider webs in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Many users in the comments section compliment developer Insomniac Games for adding this detail, with one stating that the development studio has never disappointed them. A Marvel’s Spider-Man fan jokingly asks the Reddit poster to put their hand into the machine for scientific purposes, while another player mentions that this message can also be found in a mixer in the game. In one of the comments, karmannoof confirms that they are on their fourth playthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man, and they are spending a lot of time just exploring the world.
Insomniac Games released a standalone expansion in the form of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales as a launch title for the PS5, and both games have now come out on PC. A sequel titled Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to release on PS5 later this year, but Sony has not revealed anything about the game apart from an initial teaser trailer in 2021.
Sony is yet to host a PlayStation Showcase event since then, but new rumors suggest that a PlayStation Showcase is coming relatively soon. Major PlayStation first-party games are usually the highlights of such events, and fans can expect more news on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 whenever Sony decides to host the next one.
Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
