A talented Marvel’s Spider-Man fan has created a mod for the game that allows gamers to play as a character from Invincible Season 2 - spoilers for the finale are ahead. Marvel’s Spider-Man may not be the newest title in the series, but that hasn’t stopped modders from continuing to add new content to the game.

In the base game of Marvel’s Spider-Man, there are a ton of suits inspired by the character’s long history. However, for many players, there are still some suits missing from the game, and the modding community is a great way to rectify that. There are plenty of amazing suit mods for Marvel’s Spider-Man, giving the webhead even more customization options on the PC version of the game. It’s awesome to see the Spider-Man community delve deeper into the history of the character to add more suits that Insomniac Games might have left out, and hopefully, this continues when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 eventually releases on PC, too.

Spoilers follow for Invincible Season 2. In one of the best episodes of Invincible so far, Agent Spider made an appearance, with abilities and appearance similar to Spider-Man’s. On Nexus Mods, user reza825 was quick off the mark to create a mod for the game depicting Agent Spider in Marvel’s Spider-Man. Impressively, it even has the cel-shaded effect seen in Invincible. Other mods for Marvel’s Spider-Man often focus specifically on other classic Spider-Man suits, so it’s interesting to see a character from another franchise added to the game.

Invincible's Agent Spider in Marvel's Spider-Man

The suits in the Marvel's Spider-Man games have long been a point of contention, with every fan out there having their own personal favorites. When the community isn't creating mods like this, it can often be found creating impressive concepts that show the potential for more Spidey suits. Just recently, one Marvel's Spider-Man 2 fan created variants for the game's movie suits, putting an interesting twist on the suits worn by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. There's just so much potential here, and it's cool to see the community showing off its creativity through this.

While fans continue to experiment with different suits across the Marvel's Spider-Man games, some players are wondering what the future holds for the franchise. Just recently, the villain of Marvel's Spider-Man 3 was leaked, giving players a hint of who they could expect to be facing when the sequel does eventually release. With Insomniac's entire slate for the next few years leaked back in December, it's not a huge surprise to learn that a sequel is on the way. However, as with all leaks, these plans are subject to change going forward.
