Players who are eager to have a more down-the-earth character in Marvel's Midnight Suns aren't alone. With hot personalities on the squad, there is a natural famine for relatable, pleasant, heroes. Gamers that purchased the Season Pass have Deadpool unlocked already, that about says it all.
Michael Morbius, despite his tough childhood, superpowers, and brilliant mind, is pleasant and smart without being offensive or angry. He fills a key role in Marvel's Midnight Suns that the rest of the game's roster lacks. It's understandable to want him on the squad as soon as possible.
How To Unlock Morbius
- Purchase 'The Hunger' DLC.
- Beat the 'Spidermaaaans' mission.
- Complete the 'Weird Science' mission.
Only hardcore comic book fans might know this, but it's Peter Parker who recognizes Morbius' potential to be a positive contributor. Therefore, players will need to unlock Spider-Man before being able to play with Morbius on the team.
Interestingly, The Hunter is not used for this mission. It's a two-man squad led by Spider-Man and Blade. Get Blade's ideal deck in order as well as Parker's to make this easier. Blade and Morbius, despite being enemies beforehand, actually have skills that synergize nicely.
Morbius is a great combatant because he mixes some self-defense and damage output. He's got a simple method of applying guaranteed bleed effects and can take out waves of enemies or one big boss all at once. Try to get lots of essence in preparation for his arrival so his cards and be upgraded immediately.
As with many of the other heroes, the best card for Morbius requires getting his friendship to level five and then beating his challenge mission. For the cost of only two Heroism, players can delete practically any single boss in the game in just one round. That makes him a selling point for players trying to beat the game on tougher difficulties where such damage usually comes at a cost that would bankrupt the entire squad of its moves.
Marvel's Midnight Suns is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
