Defeating four enemies in a single round in Marvel's Midnight Suns isn't something that can usually be done without a team unless players are using Story Mode to progress. Wolverine will need to do so for his challenge at the forge in order to unlock his legendary card.
These challenges aren't like most battles in the game. There are modifiers to the cards played, redraws, and moves. The cards received are preset and defined. There is usually only one way to beat this challenge in Marvel's Midnight Suns and this is the way to do it for Wolverine in Bone & Claw.
Beating Bone & Claw
- Use the Lethal Pounce card; both charges on opponent 3.
- Use the Chain Swipes card; two charges on opponent 4 and one charge on opponent 3.
- Use a Power Slash card on opponent 1, knocking it into the wall.
- Use the Power Slash card on opponent 2, knocking it into the wall.
- Use the Stink of Fear card on opponents 1 and 2.
- Use the Let's Do This card.
- Use the Eviscerate card; two charges on opponent 3 and two charges on opponent 4.
- Use the Midnight Special card.
The first goal needs to be getting Wolverine the Strengthened buff, increasing his damage for the entire round. To do this, players will need to use the Lethal Pounce card with both attacks on one opponent. Choose opponent 3 to target.
Wolverine will then be working up to a counter, requiring all enemies to target him. Use two charges of Chain Swipes on opponent 4 and the other on opponent 3, taunting them both.
Opponents 1 and 2 will need the vulnerability debuff. Use Power Slash on opponent 1 and knock it into the wall for extra damage.
Now do the same for opponent 2, again knocking it into the wall with Power Slash.
To set up the counter combo on all four opponents, the left two still need to be taunted. Use the Stink of Fear card and hit both opponents with the area of effect.
Now play the Let's Do This card, provoking all enemies to attack and countering each of them. This will kill opponents 1 and 2, leaving opponents 3 and 4 in bad shape.
To finish off the last two, use the Eviscerate card and use two charges on each opponent (3 and 4).
A crystal will spawn. Play the only card in the hand, Midnight Special, to take it out.
Winning this challenge will give players a copy of the Midnight Special card permanently. Edit the deck to add the card and get some practice with it.
