Players are used to challenge missions in Marvel's Midnight Suns well before the acquisition of Morbius. For that reason, many gamers mistakenly feel they might be able to waltz into the fight and figure it out after a few moments of studying. But Morbius is a challenging (and rewarding) character to play.
His challenge mission involves figuring out some of the trickiest mechanics in Marvel's Midnight Sun s. Thankfully, once players get the order down for this mission, they'll actually learn some very valuable strategies for Morbius to use in the future.
Beating The Late Night Snack Challenge Mission
- Use the Quick Claw card on opponent 4.
- Use the Mist Form+ card.
- Use a Claw card on opponent 5.
- Use the Bloodlust card,
- Use the Shadow Strike card, using one charge each on opponents 3, 2, and 1.
- Use a Claw card on opponent 1.
- Use the Shadow Strike card, using two charges on opponent 2 and one charge on opponent 3.
- Use a Claw card on opponent 2.
- Use the Feeding Frenzy card on opponent 3.
- Use a Claw card on opponent 6.
- Use the Undying Fury card on opponent 6.
Morbius gets easier to play after editing the hero's deck. This challenge has fixed cards, however, making the challenge very particular to beat. Save opponent 6 for the end as winning the challenge requires killing it with a card that is only granted after opponents 1 through 5 are all down.
The best opening move is to kill opponent 4 with Quick Claw. Quick Claw deals very little damage but opponent 4, thankfully, has very little health. This will yield another Claw card, so players are essentially trading a low-damage card for a high one.
Use the Mist Form+ card to increase the damage of the next attack. The rest of the creatures have relatively high health, so it's going to take this kind of work to whittle them down.
With the increased damage, the Claw card will now take out opponent 5 in a single hit, giving Morbius access to the Shadow Strike card.
Along with Shadow Strike, Morbius will gain the Bloodlust card. It's free to use and will pop up in the player's hand after Morbius uses two attack cards (useful to know during the game). Use it to apply bleed effects with all further Morbius attacks.
Use Shadow Strike and use one charge of the chain on each remaining opponent (besides 6). This will give each one a bleed effect that future cards can take advantage of.
Left with two Claw cards, only opponent 1 has low enough health to kill. Use Claw on it and take its Shadow Strike card.
With the Shadow Strike card, use two charges on opponent 2 and one charge on opponent 3.
Now opponent 2 can be killed with a single Claw attack. Use this on it and take the Feeding Frenzy card it is holding.
Thanks to the two bleed stacks, opponent 3 is now able to be killed with a single use of Feeding Frenzy against it.
There are only two cards and one enemy left. However, it's very important to use the cards in the correct order. The legendary card deal colossal damage to an enemy that has a bleed effect. To give it that bleed effect, use Claw on opponent 6 first.
Undying Fury is all it takes to wipe out opponent 6 and win the challenge mission.
Upgrade this card and start using it right away. When used against an opponent who has a bleed effect, it can kill about anything in one shot at the ultra-low cost of only two Heroism.
Marvel's Midnight Suns is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
