Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy features a surprisingly robust choice system that can result in two different scenarios for the Guardians during Chapter 4. If Lady Hellbender doesn't like what the team is trying to sell her, she will send her minions after them.
After Rocket opens fire in the Throneroom, players have to battle reinforcements. Once a few waves have been defeated, the team will end up in a corridor that traps them inside with a drone on either side. If their red beams touch Star-Lord, it's an insta-death, so Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy players must work out how to escape before this happens.
How to Escape Drones in Lady Hellbender’s Palace
As always in Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy, using Star-Lord's visor can help players search for the way forward, and reveal difficult puzzle solutions. Press R3 on consoles to activate the visor and look for any objects with a yellow glow.
Scanning Lady Hellbender's drones make it seem like players have to use Star-Lord's Ice Elemental guns to destroy them. This doesn't do anything, and neither does regular gunfire. Their description makes it seem like they need to be destroyed to continue with the story, but to escape Lady Hellbender's drones in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, players actually have to look down while using Star-Lord's visor and interact with the crack in the grating.
Star-Lord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy can't break the flooring, so players will need to press L1/LB on consoles and press the corresponding Drax button to get him to make a hole in the floor. Jump down to escape the drones, but be careful when exploring the next area. The deadly red field surrounding them can also reach players under here.
While Star-Lord's visor is essential for solving small puzzles like this, it can also be used to search for hidden collectibles, and resources used for upgrading Perks. Players can take advantage of this in the area ahead and find an unlockable costume for Rocket while exploring Lady Hellbender's tunnels in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Don't worry if collectibles are missed during a playthrough, as any completed chapter can be repeated from the main menu of the game. Players can also replay chapters to see how their choices have affected key moments in the story. However, players will have to play through the entire game again to see the long-term ramifications of their decisions.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
