After Marvel's Avengers first ever limited time event fired off successfully, it's already time for players to move on to the next festivity as the game begins to operate a bit more like other games as service offerings. The Tachyon Anomaly has come to a close and now it's time for heroes to start investigating the strange Rooskaya Protocols that are embedded in the in-game world data...
The Rooskaya Protocols help kick off the Red Room activities and give players some new tasks to complete on a limited time frame. There are also a ton of relation nameplates and costumes in the Marketplace over the next two weeks for fans who are willing to drop some cash on the in-game cosmetics. While Marvel's Avengers players are online and checking out the Red Room activities, they may want to complete the usual weekly rotation of tasks and challenges, as well.
The week 35 rotation is offering players a chance to complete the usual amount of low or high level challenges to claim some guaranteed rewards. The incentives can be pretty useful for players who haven't hit max power level yet. It makes sense to get the week started with the HARM and Priority Missions and earn those rewards first before moving on to the event's more challenging tasks.
As always, this week is built around the content that players should be used to by this point and the rotating challenges deliver some fresh motivation to revisit existing missions thanks to guaranteed rewards. All of the missions up for grabs offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to. Most high level heroes are likely very familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without too much trouble...

Mega Hive
"The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you can run it again with new modifiers."
Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.
Note: This week's Marvel's Avengers blog update did not include any information on the Mega Hive or its weekly modifiers. It's unclear at this point if the Mega Hive is just being left out of the blog update or if it is no longer a part of the weekly rotation. As more information becomes available on that front we'll be sure to post an update.
That should be just about everything players need to know to prepare for the current week's challenges. Completing the tasks while starting on the Red Room event challenges is a good tactic, so players should make sure to dive in and earn those rewards. Be sure to check back frequently for more Marvel's Avengers news, guides, and updates.
