Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has been slowly removing the veil covering a variety of its characters, with Wolverine, Spider-Gwen, and Miles Morales' Spider-Man all recently getting extensively detailed. Now, Hawkeye's abilities and gameplay have been revealed, giving a short but satisfying glimpse into the capabilities of Clint Barton.

Hawkeye's abilities are dubbed Exploding Arrows, Shock Value, Scattershot, and Piercing Shot. The first is a top-down AoE that deals fire damage to everyone that the player aims at. Shock Value is Hawkeye's row attack, dealing shock damage to enemies that are in a row. Scattershot is a short barrage of explosive arrows at nearby enemies, and Piercing Shot deals damages to Ultimate Alliance 3 enemies in a line in front of him.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 players will be able to play as Hawkeye and various other characters as part of its expanding roster. Just recently, merchandise leaked through online retailers seemingly revealed that Ant-Man, Vision, and Elektra could all be joining the Ultimate Alliance 3 roster. Although this is the first time Ant-Man and Elektra have been seen in relation to the forthcoming game, this isn't true for the Avenger Vision, suggesting that these leaks could be legitimate.

If Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 continues to showcase character abilities at its current rates, it's possible that one of the aforementioned characters will receive similar treatment in the coming weeks. With a handful of characters like Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye already revealed, fans will indubitably clamor for more from developer Team Ninja.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will release on July 19, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
