Marvel Snap’s final card in the We Are Venom Season is Toxin, a two-Cost, one-Power card with an On Reveal ability that bounces other cards in his lane and gains a buff from it.
Unsurprisingly, Toxin will become a staple in Marvel Snap’s bounce archetype decks, simplifying the process of building a solid deck around him. In essence, he’s a plug-and-play card that enhances the strategies Beast and Falcon have been aiming for.

The Best Deck for Toxin
Toxin is a perfect fit for standard bounce decks with Beast and Falcon. You can create such a lineup by teaming up this trio (Toxin, Beast, Falcon) with the following cards: Sage, Bishop, Hit-Monkey, The Hood, Nico Minoru, Rocket Raccoon, Black Swan, Agent Venom, and Silver Sable.

Toxin Deck Synergies
- Toxin, Beast, and Falcon are the primary bouncers.
- The Hood, Nico Minoru, Rocket Raccoon, Silver Sable, and Sage are the bounce targets.
- Bishop and Hit-Monkey are powerhouses that grow big each time you bounce and replay cards.
- Agent Venom and Black Swan are support characters to ensure you don’t run into a Cost or Power problem.
How to Play Toxin Effectively
Toxin’s gameplay is straightforward: play him in a crowded lane, and he bounces all other cards there, gaining +2 Power for each. To maximize his On Reveal effect, aim to play him in lanes with at least three other cards.
Here are a few things to keep in mind when playing Toxin:
- Toxin’s effect benefits only him. The +2 Power boost goes to Toxin, not the cards he bounces. This is a small but important detail that can be easily missed due to his slightly misleading card text.
- Toxin works well as a counter to clog strategies. Since he bounces all cards and buffs from it, you can use him against cards like Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, or any clog card your opponent plays.
How to Counter Toxin
A foolproof counter to Toxin is Shadow King. However, Shang-Chi and Sandman are also solid tech options. Shadow King resets a buffed Toxin’s Power to one, while Shang-Chi destroys him if he surpasses ten Power, which is quite common in the current META. Sandman, on the other hand, limits card drops, making him a generally strong counter to bounce decks, as they depend on playing multiple cards at once.
Is Toxin Worth It?
Toxin is a niche addition to Marvel Snap that’s worth getting only if you frequently play bounce decks. Otherwise, he's a skippable card. While he enhances the bounce archetype by offering another bounce option alongside Falcon and Beast, that’s essentially his main role. If flexibility is important to you, Toxin might not be the best choice.
