Marvel Snap's latest season is all about The Prehistoric Avengers. Marvel Snap has been very creative in terms of utilizing its assets in previous seasons. From interesting usage of characters from the Eternals, or even locations from within the Marvel Universe, developer Second Dinner has delivered steady and fun content that fans seem to enjoy.

The recent Marvel Snap season was based on Brave New World and introduced several new cards which helped add more variety to the game. In addition, a new mode called Sanctum Showdown which was also host to some exclusive cards was introduced in late February. The said match variation is still ongoing and will be continuing even as the new season has already started. Not surprisingly, Sanctum Showdown lightly ties in with the current Season Pass card.

Marvel Snap is back up in the United States, and recent players around the world can claim compensation rewards for its recent outage.

The latest season of Marvel Snap has introduced the Prehistoric Avengers and will add more new cards and locations related to the characters. This includes the very first Sorcerer Supreme, Agamotto, who also happens to be the Season Pass card. What's special about Agamotto is that he introduces a new type of card called Skills, which are banished for the duration of the match after taking effect. This leaves opportunities for players to plan strategically, such as maximizing Marvel Snap's Hope Summers.

Other cards coming during the season are Starbrand, Firehair, Khonshu, and Eson. Out of the cards mentioned, Khonshu holds a unique ability wherein it gains power and resurrects a discarded card whenever it gets discarded as well. However, the said skill can only be activated twice. This could prove useful for decks which hold cards like MODOK, Colleen Wing, Apocalypse, and the like. However, what's quite interesting is the mention that an additional card, The First Ghost Rider, can be earned for free in the returning Marvel Snap mode High Voltage. The First Ghost Rider will discard the lowest Power card from a player's hand and will remove its power from the First Ghost Rider card. It seems this could tie in well with decks utilizing Khonshu. The First Ghost Rider will be exclusively unlocked through High Voltage by completing missions and winning games starting on March 21 and ending on March 28.

In addition to the stated character cards, two new Marvel Snap locations will be debuting this season. Star Brand Crater will grant an extra 1 energy each turn to each player with 10 or more Power. The Celestial Burial Ground will discard a card from a player's hand and will replace it with a similar costing one. Several albums will also be coming to The Prehistoric Avengers season, which features more variants and unlockables as well. Fans will be excited to see what new card faces could debut with the said theme in mind.
