Starting at Collection Level 486, Pool Four introduces some of the finest cards within Marvel Snap's extensive roster. Nevertheless, not all characters in this series live up to the hype associated with their names. In reality, only eight out of the eighteen cards justify the investment of both price and effort. This Pool Four card tier list distinguishes between the standout and underwhelming ones, providing players with insights to unlock the most valuable ones using Tokens or Spotlight Keys.

The Best Cards in Pool Four

Among all the 18 options, the best cards in Marvel Snap’s Series Four are Darkhawk, Mobius, Snowguard, and Zabu. These cards offer the strongest and most consistent synergies, allowing for risk-free META combos.

Here’s why these cards must be in the S-tier category:

  • Darkhawk offers sheer power with no drawbacks. When teamed up with basic cards like Korg and Rockslide, he brings up to 14 Power to the board, which is incredible for a 4-Cost drop.
  • Mobius provides the best Cost-oriented counterplays. He prevents card Cost increase on the friendly side and Cost reduction on the opposing side.
  • Snowguard has excellent synergies. She adds two 3-Cost cards to the hand that could be buffed (with cards like Silver Surfer) for maximum effect.
  • Zabu is the killer 2-Cost drop. He works best with ramp decks, reducing the Cost of turn-four options.

The Worst Cards in Pool Four

Judging by the effects and synergies, the worst Series Four cards are Ravonna Renslayer, Spider-Man 2099, Master Mold, and Martyr. Here’s why they deserve to be D-tier cards:

  • Ravonna Renslayer is a 2-Cost drop that gives a +1 booster to cards with one or zero Power. Considering the metagame does not revolve around these niche cards, Ravonna is not the greatest option in the fourth Pool.
  • Spider-Man 2099 destroys an enemy card when he moves. What makes him a bad card is that his effect is triggered only once and that there’s minimum synergy between movement and destroy decks for him.
  • Master Mold adds two Sentinels to the opponent’s deck. This might be handy in Darkhawk decks, but the overall effect is often negative.
  • Martyr has a damaging effect. At the end of the game, she flies to the lane that would lose the match. This hostile ability makes her one of the worst cards in the current META, discouraging players from getting her.
