Since its release, Legion has remained one of the best 5-Cost On Reveal cards in Marvel Snap. This card has the ability to copy his location’s effect into the other two lanes, creating some of the rarest synergies in the entire game.
However, not many fans incorporate him in their decks because of his RNG-based skill. With this guide, though, even beginner Marvel Snap players can create a consistent and winning deck for Legion like a pro.
Marvel Snap: The Best Psylocke Deck
Psylocke is the only card to revive the forgotten ramp archetype; here’s how to build her a deck in Marvel Snap.
The Best Deck for Legion
Based on current synergies, the perfect deck for Legion is a Storm-Magik control lineup. Players can replicate this setup by having Legion, Storm, and Magik team up with Jeff!, Psylocke, Sunspot, Quake, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Ebony Maw, and America Chavez.

The following are card synergies in this Legion deck.
- Storm: Floods a location in turn 4.
- Legion: Copies flooded location in turn 5. (No one can play in turn 6.)
- Magik: Changes her location to Limbo, giving the match an extra round.
- She-Hulk: By skipping turn 6, this card becomes a 0-Cost powerhouse.
- Jeff!: Can be played into the flooded location.
- Ebony Maw: Locks down his lane in turn 3.
- Psylocke: Gives one extra Energy for faster drops.
- Spider-Man: Moves an enemy to another lane. (He moves too.)
- Scarlet Witch: Changes one location effect to something random.
- Quake: When played to the mid-lane, swaps the position of each location.
- Sunspot: Earns +1 Power for each unspent Energy.
- America Chavez: Shows up in turn 6 as a win condition.
Since the Legion deck often forces the opponents to retreat, it’s one of the best options for Conquest matches.
How to Play Legion
Legion should be utilized as a control card. He can lock down lanes, extend the game, or change the tides by simply copying one location’s effect into others. Ideally, Legion should be played into Storm or Magik for a surefire result. However, he can also rely on Scarlet Witch and Quake’s abilities to achieve the desired effect.
Here are the best combos for Legion:
- Play Legion on turn 5 after Storm. With this combo, the game ends before the final round, locking the opponent out of their last move.
- Play Legion after Scarlet Witch. Doing so will change an undesirable lane, increasing the chances of getting better effects.
- Get a free She-Hulk with Legion. First, extend the game to round 7. Then, flood all locations in turn 6 so that She-Hulk’s Cost drops to zero. Finally, hit the enemy with a heavy She-Hulk-America Chavez twosome to dominate the board.
How to Counter Legion
There’s not much to do for a Legion-Storm combo in turn five, as they will end the game early. However, players can extend the game to round seven with Magik, change a copied location’s effect with Scarlet Witch, or prevent Legion’s ability with Cosmo.
