Hulkling performs optimally in a ramp deck alongside Electro and Sandman. To build a strong deck around this trio, consider including the following cards: Wave, Blink, Nebula, Copycat, Jubilee, Odin, Magneto, Doctor Doom, and Scarlet Witch.

Hulkling Deck’s Synergies

Electro and Wave are ramp enablers, allowing you to play more than one 6-Cost card.

How To Play Hulkling Effectively In Marvel Snap

Hulkling's ability relies on RNG, as his text is revealed only at the start of the game, making it difficult to strategize around it beforehand. However, he should be used as a backup card to support your primary strategy. In ramp decks, for instance, Hulkling can serve as a powerful asset, even if his copied text isn’t ideal.

Things to have in mind about Hulkling’s gameplay:

Hulkling won’t target your deck’s 6-Cost cards. At the start of the match, Hulkling will copy the text of a random 6-Cost card from the entire Marvel Snap roster, be it cards you already own or have never unlocked.
Hulkling won’t start in your hand. Although his effect is triggered right at the start of each match, he will remain a random draw.

How To Counter Hulkling In Marvel Snap

As an 11-Power card, Hulkling is vulnerable to Shang-Chi, who can eliminate him easily. However, since Hulkling is a text-stealing card, you can counter him with Cosmo or Enchantress, both of whom can disrupt his ability. Additionally, Goose is a strong counter option, as she disables at least one location, which can interfere with multiple synergies in Hulkling decks, not just Hulkling himself.

Is Hulkling Worth It?

Given his high RNG factor, Hulkling is not a must-have card in Marvel Snap’s current META. The main issue with Hulkling is that he acts as a jack of all trades but a master of none. While he can fit into various archetypes, his effect is often too negligible and replicable to justify a prominent role in your deck.
