A Marvel Rivals shirt at Hot Topic might have leaked Ultron as a future playable character. Marvel Rivals currently has 37 playable characters, with developer NetEase promising to add even more in future seasons. Unverified leaks have hinted at some of these upcoming heroes and villains, with a few of the most recurring names being the vampire hunter Blade, the ever-popular Deadpool, and the supernaturally empowered vigilante Ghost Rider.
Many of these leaks also suggest that Ultron could be added to Marvel Rivals at some point, as the mechanical menace is one of the Avengers’ most infamous enemies with a list of powers that could make him a fitting choice for an arena shooter. In the past, it has been suggested that Ultron would be a Strategist with powerful laser blasts and the ability to summon drones to assist his team in battle. Ultron has yet to be officially confirmed as an upcoming Marvel Rivals character at this time, though his in-game appearance might have just been leaked by Hot Topic of all places.

As reported by The Gamer, Hot Topic customers have spotted what appears to be a Marvel Rivals T-shirt featuring Ultron. His design seems to borrow heavily from his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with angular, gunmetal grey features and glowing red accents. He does seem stylized enough to fit in with the rest of the Marvel Rivals roster, but it should be noted that the Hero Icon in the corner appears to be that of Peni Parker rather than an original design.
Hot Topic Shirt Might Reveal Marvel Rivals Ultron
This does bring up the possibility that this Marvel Rivals Ultron shirt is a bootleg that somehow made it into Hot Topic’s inventory, but the store has been reportedly selling it for some time now. Neither Marvel nor NetEase has addressed this merchandise or pushed to have it removed, and it is still available to order on the Hot Topic website alongside a line of other Marvel Rivals-themed apparel.
Fans probably shouldn’t take this shirt as an absolute confirmation that Ultron is coming to Marvel Rivals, but the character’s constant presence in character leaks still seems to indicate that the Avengers’ robotic archnemesis could appear in the game at some point. In the meantime, Marvel Rivals is about to end its first season on April 11, so it might not be too much longer before fans have an idea about what characters are coming in Season Two. So far, Blade seems to be the most likely addition, though Ultron could make his debut later on if he is indeed on the way.
