Ahead of the game's launch, NetEase Games revealed several Marvel Rivals Twitch Drop rewards that players can earn starting Friday, December 6. The launch of Marvel Rivals also marks the beginning of Season 0, which serves as a short pre-season before content updates begin to ramp up.
Following a very successful Marvel Rivals beta, Marvel and NetEase Games began to prepare for the game's launch by revealing many of the characters that players can expect to play with. These characters include Captain America, Moon Knight, and Winter Soldier, to name a few. Most recently, the developers revealed the full launch roster for Marvel Rivals, confirming that fan-favorites like Wolverine, Black Widow, and Iron Fist will be playable on day one. Marvel Rivals players may also earn rewards by watching streamers play the new competitive shooter on Twitch.
The Marvel Rivals developers revealed some of its Season 0 Twitch Drops plan on Twitter, confirming that five rewards will be up for grabs from December 6 to Tuesday, December 31 at 23:59 UTC. Firstly, players can earn the Magneto Will of Galacta Spray by watching 30 minutes of Marvel Rivals streams on Twitch. Players may earn the Magneto Will of Galacta Nameplate by watching an hour's worth of Twitch streams, and Magneto Cosmic Collapse Emotes and Magneto Will of Galacta Costume may be earned by reaching the two-hour and four-hour marks, respectively. The fifth and final reward is the Winter Stockings Spray, which will be available to earn by watching Marvel Rivals Twitch streams from Friday, December 20 to Sunday, December 29 at 23:59 UTC.

It's worth noting that these rewards can only be obtained if the user is logged into Twitch and has a linked game account to their Twitch account. Once a Marvel Rivals Twitch drop is earned, it will be viewable from the "Drop & Rewards" tab on Twitch, and there will likely be more information about account linking to Marvel Rivals at launch.
Since this is just a "sneak peek" at the game's Season 0 Twitch Drops plan, Marvel Rivals players can expect more rewards during the pre-season period. Season 0 is expected to last just a month, and Season 1 is likely to follow up sometime near the start of the new year. To prepare for Season 0 and the Twitch Drops promotion, players can pre-download Marvel Rivals on PC on Wednesday, December 4, giving players instant access to the game as soon as it unlocks on December 6.
Marvel Rivals will feature 33 playable characters at launch and a variety of maps based on iconic settings from the comics and movie series, including Wakanda and Asgard. All post-launch characters and maps will be free of charge, so players have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming seasons.
