Marvel Rivals has officially given players their first look at the roadmap for Season 4 of the popular hero shooter, revealing exactly when fans can expect to get their hands on new heroes, maps, cosmetics, and more. Season 4 of Marvel Rivals officially begins on September 12 and will be adding the hero Angela to the game as a Vanguard.
In addition to adding a wealth of new content to the popular hero shooter, NetEase Games has revealed that it will be bringing Marvel Rivals to the PlayStation 4. Rumors about the possible port have been swirling around the internet for quite some time, with many gamers eager to see the title come to a new platform. The announcement that it will be making its way to PlayStation 4 has sparked hope in many players who would like to see the game come to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 2 in the future. Unfortunately, NetEase Games has not shared any information about the title coming to additional platforms in the future. While some fans are worried about how the title will perform on the older hardware, many are optimistic about its ability to run on the PlayStation 4.
Marvel Rivals Season 4 Roadmap Details
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a first look at what they can expect to see throughout the first half of Season 4 of Marvel Rivals. On September 12, gamers will gain access to the new Vanguard Angela, who will be the title's first tank with the ability to fly. Players will also be able to purchase a 2099-themed skin for the new hero called Skuld 2099. A whole new battle pass called Fruit of Immortality will also be making its debut on the same day. NetEase Games will also be launching a new event called Scroll of the Immortal Beasts, which will give players a chance to earn a free skin for the Strategist Ultron.
On September 19, players will gain access to a whole new wave of swimsuit cosmetics in Marvel Rivals, which includes new skins for Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Punisher, and more. On September 26, players can look forward to experiencing a whole new map called K'un Lun - Heart of Heaven. On October 3, NetEase Games will be releasing a new skin for Emma Frost called Hellfire Protocol, which seems to embrace the 2099 aesthetic.
Finally, the roadmap revealed that players can expect to see the game's major Season 4.5 update launch on October 10. While very little is known about the second half of Season 4, it's safe to say that players will at least gain access to Daredevil in Marvel Rivals on October 10. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
