Summary
- Namor in Marvel Rivals can achieve high eliminations with unique abilities like turrets.
- One player managed to get 101 eliminations as Namor during a game.
- Marvel Rivals players have been showcasing exceptional achievements, hinting at the game's promising future.
One Marvel Rivals player revealed that their friend managed to stack up an astonishing number of eliminations as Namor in a single ranked match. NetEase Games has been busy rolling out Season 1: Eternal Night Falls of its popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals. In addition to introducing Dracula as a major antagonist, the game has also added heroes from The Fantastic Four to its ever-expanding roster. While there's no way of knowing which characters might come to the game after Season 1, the developers have stated that they intend to debut one new hero every six weeks.
Marvel Rivals' Namor is a Duelist with several unique abilities. The hero's primary attack allows him to throw a trident at foes, and he also has the ability to self-heal, which gives him a little more longevity during a match. His ultimate is an area attack that uses a whale to knock down enemies while dealing a significant amount of damage. However, many fans seem to feel that his most powerful asset is his ability to create living turrets. These sea creatures automatically attack nearby enemies, allowing Namor to accumulate damage and eliminate foes without actively targeting them himself.
Marvel Rivals Players Have a Major Issue With Scarlet Witch
Marvel Rivals fans take to social media to express frustration with the Duelist Scarlet Witch in NetEase Games' popular hero shooter.
In a recent post on Reddit, Resident_Economics56 shared that their friend managed to stack up 101 eliminations as Namor during a ranked match of Marvel Rivals. While it's not uncommon for Duelists to be some of the highest damage dealers, getting 101 eliminations is still highly unusual. Apparently, the match was close to 25 minutes long, which presented plenty of opportunities to get into combat. While some gamers attributed Namor's high elimination count to his turrets, they also congratulated the player for accomplishing such a feat.
Marvel Rivals Player Reaches 101 Eliminations With Namor
As one of the game's 35 heroes, Namor doesn't get a lot of attention. It was recently revealed that he has an unusually low pick rate in Marvel Rivals, though his win rate is actually quite high. This has caused some gamers to feel that he's underrated, as a large portion of the community seems to have ignored his potential to deal tremendous amounts of damage. His ability to reach 101 eliminations in a single match has led some people to believe the hero warrants a second look.
This isn't the first time a player has pulled off an unusual achievement, as a recent Rocket Raccoon player in Marvel Rivals managed to reach Grandmaster rank without dealing a single point of damage. As a Strategist, they mostly focused on healing teammates while using their primary attack to clear clones, turrets, and spider nests from the battlefield. Unfortunately, the gamer's hot streak came to a screeching halt when they accidentally dealt 22 damage to an enemy player. As Marvel Rivals matures, more and more people are finding ways to pull off incredible accomplishments, which might bode well for the future of the popular hero shooter.
