Marvel Rivals New Peni Parker & Doctor Strange Skins Release Date

NetEase officially announced the release of these skins through their X page, and they will be arriving on April 17 at 7 PM PDT. Peni Parker's Yatsukahagi skin is a reminiscence of the Tsuchigumo, a spider yōkai that is quite characteristic of the Kobe region in Japan, and appeared as part of the local folklore during the Kamakura period.

On the other hand, Doctor Strange's outfit is slightly inspired by the evil Strange version from the movie Multiverse of Madness, though its design is not a perfect copy-paste and has its defining features. These particular details, like the cape's design and the zombie-like features (instead of the Dark Sorcerer/corrupted aspect that Strange had in the movie), make this skin something attractive for those who are looking to give the character a more ferocious aspect during battle.

The outfits will soon be available in the store, so players can check for themselves if these new aspects for their characters suit their tastes. On the other hand, Season 2 has brought many changes, and players should check all the characters that were nerfed if they want to be up to date with the current Meta and Competitive Play.
