Marvel Rivals has officially unveiled new skins for the fan-favorite units Captain America and Spider-Man. Per Marvel Rivals' schedule, this would be the final set of skins of Season 2 before it wraps up in mid-July.
Earlier in May 2025, Marvel Rivals revealed a set of new Future Foundation skins for Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing, and lastly, Spider-Man. These alternate outfits draw inspiration from Marvel's FF comic series from 2011. However, while the three Fantastic Four characters have already been released by NetEase, Marvel Rivals kept Spider-Man's skin blurred out in the back in promotional videos. As Season 2 approaches its end, fans have been wondering when they could get a closer look at Spider-Man's variant. Fortunately for players, the developers have unveiled the character's anticipated skin, along with another unique outfit for Captain America.
How Marvel Rivals' Winter Soldier Lore Transcends Backstory
Marvel Rivals puts a lot of fun spins on beloved Marvel heroes and villains, but the Winter Soldier's in-game lore transcends simple backstory.
Through an official social media post, Marvel Rivals has confirmed that Spider-Man's Future Foundation and Captain America's Captain Klyntar skins will be available on July 3 at 7:00 PM PDT. As seen in the artwork, Spider-Man Future Foundation wears a white spider suit with some black stripes. He also wears a belt with the Future Foundation logo on it. Meanwhile, Captain America's Klyntar variant sees him in full black and using Symbiotic matter to extend his limbs. The new outfits come after Marvel Rivals released a free Human Torch skin, but Captain America and Spider-Man's will likely be purchasable through the in-game store.
Marvel Rivals' Captain Klyntar and Spider-Man's Future Foundation Skins Release on July 3
Marvel Rivals also revealed a trailer for Spider-Man's Future Foundation skin, showcasing how the suit is able to change into black and vice versa during combat. On the other hand, Captain America's Klyntar costume might be a premonition of what's to come in the next season. It has been suggested that Marvel Rivals Season 3 would be centered around the Klyntar Symbiotes, though fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from developers. Considering the end date of the current Battle Pass, Season 3 will potentially launch on July 11.
It won't be long before Marvel Rivals unveils the content planned for Season 3, but previous leaks have teased the debut of Blade and Jean Grey. The latter will allegedly have two forms in battle, and both are expected to be new Duelists in Marvel Rivals. Whether they can join the list of strongest units in the game remains to be seen.
