Marvel Rivals has given players their first look at new summer swimsuit skins for Psylocke and Loki, which will be making their official debut in the popular hero shooter's shop on July 17 at 7 PM PDT. NetEase Games recently released Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, adding the popular X-Men character Jean Grey to the roster as the Duelist Phoenix.

In addition to adding Phoenix herself, NetEase Games introduced a fresh team-up between the new Duelist and Wolverine in Marvel Rivals. The team-up has been met with quite a bit of controversy, as it powers up Wolverine's Feral Leap ability. Under the team-up, Feral Leap covers Wolverine in flames, allowing him to deal percentage damage to nearby foes. He also gains lifesteal, which means he is simultaneously dealing more damage than before and is constantly regenerating health. Many Vanguard players have complained about the team-up, claiming that it makes the Duelist completely unbalanced.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a first look at two new summer skins coming to Marvel Rivals on July 17 at 7 PM PDT. Psylocke's costume is called Breezy Butterfly and shows the Duelist in a teal swimsuit and a purple top. Meanwhile, Loki's upcoming costume is called Robe of Relaxation and shows the hero wearing green swim trunks and a matching robe with golden accents. From the image shown, he's also sporting a wide-brimmed hat and has a golden dragon draped across his shoulders. As of writing, NetEase Games hasn't revealed just how much either cosmetic will cost.

Marvel Rivals Showcases Summer Swimsuit Skins for Loki and Psylocke

NetEase Games teased the arrival of these summer costumes in the roadmap for Season 3 of Marvel Rivals, which included new skins for Thor and Luna Snow as well. The roadmap also gave players a first look at upcoming skins for Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Human Torch, which will be modeled after their appearance in the upcoming MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. As part of the collaboration, Human Torch and The Thing will be receiving a new team-up on July 25.

While Season 3 has only just begun, many players are already keeping an eye on the future, as NetEase Games revealed that its Season 3.5 update will be launching on August 8. The major mid-season update will add Blade to Marvel Rivals, a character who has been teased since the very beginning of Season 1. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
