Marvel Rivals is currently nearing the end of Season 0, which has seen two variants of Doctor Doom creating havoc within the multiverse. While the Dooms are the title's current antagonists, NetEase Games has already teased the appearance of the villain Knull in the future.

Many fans feel the debut of The Fantastic Four makes a lot of sense for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals. Doctor Doom has always been one of the hero group's primary villains, meaning their arrival would feel like a natural fit in the fight to save the multiverse. While many upcoming Marvel Rivals characters have been leaked, a lot of players seem to be most excited about the variety The Fantastic Four could bring to the game.

Prominent Marvel Rivals leaker X0X_Leak posted an image on Twitter of what appears to be official artwork for Season 1 of the popular hero shooter. The art shows Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, The Thing, and The Invisible Woman hovering above a city in a floating car. Rumors have been swirling around about the heroes since the game's release, with some people finding voice lines and character artwork in the game's files. Leakers have claimed that The Thing will be a Vanguard in Marvel Rivals, while Mister Fantastic and Human Torch will be Duelists, and The Invisible Woman will be a Strategist. In a later post, X0X_Leak claimed the image came from an app for Chinese users and stated that Season 1 of Marvel Rivals could begin on January 10.

Leaked Artwork Shows The Fantastic Four Could Be Coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 1

While very little is known about most of the rumored heroes, Human Torch's full Marvel Rivals ability kit was leaked recently. If true, the Duelist will be able to create walls of flame to harm enemies and protect allies. These walls could be used for defense or as a way to control zones, similar to the way Groot uses his walls. Human Torch is also rumored to have a team-up ability with Storm, enabling the heroes to create fire tornadoes on the battlefield.

Another leak may have revealed the full ability kit for Ultron in Marvel Rivals. While not shown in the image from X0X_Leak, many fans have speculated that the villain will also be released during Season 1 of the popular hero shooter. Ultron is expected to be a Strategist with the ability to deploy drones that heal allies while attacking nearby enemies. As with all leaks, this information shouldn't be treated as an official statement or announcement. It's always possible that leaked content could be delayed, changed, or scrapped entirely. With a lot of rumors floating around and so much on the horizon for Marvel Rivals, many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 1.
