Summary
- Moon Knight's ultimate ability in Marvel Rivals seems to be dealing double damage.
- Fans can expect The Thing, Human Torch, and a Central Park map in a mid-season update.
- Some players speculate that Moon Knight's ability may not be bugged, but rather the description might be wrong.
A Marvel Rivals player took to social media to show evidence of Moon Knight's ultimate ability dealing double damage, which many fans feel is a bug. Marvel Rivals is currently approaching the middle of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which focuses on the struggle between Dracula and The Fantastic Four in a fight for control of New York City. Fans looking forward to more content can expect to see The Thing, Human Torch, and a Central Park map added in a large mid-season update, which may arrive sometime in February.
Moon Knight is a Duelist in Marvel Rivals, which means his main objective is to dish out as much damage as possible while stacking up eliminations throughout the match. One of the hero's greatest strengths is his mobility, with abilities that allow him to double jump, hook onto nearby surfaces, and glide from place to place. His primary attack hurls crescent darts at enemies, which bounce between foes, dealing damage with each hit. Moon Knight can also throw down an ankh, which allows him to hit every nearby hostile character with his darts.
Marvel Rivals Players Can Earn a New Free Skin for a Limited Time
NetEase Games surprises Marvel Rivals players by giving them the opportunity to earn a new free skin for a limited time in the popular hero shooter.
In a recent post on Reddit, Sidewaysgts showed video evidence of Moon Knight's ultimate dealing double its cited damage, which they believe is a bug. According to the description by NetEase Games, Hand of Khonshu is supposed to drop deadly talons within a 5-meter radius, with each one dealing 75 damage to enemy players. However, as seen in the video, foes are actually taking 150 damage from each talon, meaning characters are eliminated twice as fast. This makes Hand of Khonshu one of the deadliest abilities in the game, even allowing it to quickly KO Vanguards in Marvel Rivals.
Moon Knight’s Ultimate May Be Bugged in Marvel Rivals
While many gamers were relieved to find out that the ultimate was, in fact, dealing a significant amount of damage, some noted that the ability may not be bugged. Instead, the description provided by NetEase Games could be incorrect, meaning Hand of Khonshu is possibly working as intended. If so, this would make it one of the most powerful ultimates in Marvel Rivals.
While many players are focused on Moon Knight's ability kit, others have been finding hidden details about the character within the hero shooter. One fan discovered a reference to an internet meme where Moon Knight declares that Dracula owes him money. This is particularly relevant, as Dracula is the main antagonist of Season 1. Another gamer recently noticed that Moon Knight has three signatures in Marvel Rivals, one for each of his alter egos. With so many little Easter eggs to discover, many players feel NetEase Games has paid special attention to each hero and their place in pop culture.
