A Marvel Rivals fan took to social media to share that Moon Knight has three signatures on his hero screen, one for each of his alter egos. Marvel Rivals is currently in the opening weeks of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which has added Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman to the title's ever-expanding roster. NetEase Games has stated that players can expect to see The Thing and Human Torch debut in a large mid-season update.

Moon Knight is a Duelist in Marvel Rivals, but he also has a long history in Marvel's comics and even received his own television show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The hero's origin begins with the death of his alter ego, Marc Spector, who is resurrected by the ancient god Khonshu to become the deity's avatar. It's later revealed that Marc has dissociative identity disorder, which results in him having three distinct personalities: Marc Spector has a military background, Steven Grant is a billionaire business person, and Jake Lockley is a taxicab driver. All three play a crucial role in making up the hero Moon Knight.

Marvel Rivals Players Can Earn a New Free Skin for a Limited Time

NetEase Games surprises Marvel Rivals players by giving them the opportunity to earn a new free skin for a limited time in the popular hero shooter.

In a recent post on Reddit, HARDTEK__ noticed that Moon Knight has three signatures next to his name in Marvel Rivals, one for each alter ego. Every playable character has their own page under the game's hero tab, and each one has a signature next to their name. While most feature a single signature, Moon Knight has one for each of his personalities: Marc Spector, Jake Lockley, and Steven Grant. Furthermore, they all display different handwriting, adding to the notion that each personality is distinct from the others. This isn't the first time the developers have had some fun with the signatures, as Marvel Rivals' Groot has a simple smiley face drawn next to his name.

Marvel Rivals’ Moon Knight Has Three Signatures

Many fans feel NetEase Games has paid close attention to each hero, weaving in little known facts and even pop culture references throughout the title. For instance, Marvel Rivals references a famous meme where Moon Knight is hunting down Dracula because the villain owes him money. While this was previously just an internet joke, a large portion of the community rejoiced when seeing that the game acknowledged it and made the meme canon within its lore.

The hero tab is full of little details for players to discover. As the cursor moves over each character, they pop out of the frame with a unique animation. If they are wearing a custom costume, it will be displayed during the animation. While most strike the same pose no matter which outfit they're wearing, fans recently noticed that Marvel Rivals' Scarlet Witch has a unique pose for her MCU skin. With so many references and details hidden throughout the game, many players feel the developers genuinely care about Marvel's heroes and their history.
