A Marvel Rivals player has put their latest defeat on blast playing as Mister Fantastic in the hero shooter, and since Reed Richards’ elasticity was his downfall, the community has joined in with the trolling. As part of Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls roadmap, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Women were added in the first half of the season, and characters the Human Torch and The Thing will be added in the second half.
Marvel Rivals launched in December 2024 and players can man a host of characters from Marvel lore in Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist roles. Alongside Mister Fantastic’s arrival in-game, Marvel Rivals players have also been impressed by the Invisible Woman’s abilities as a healer, such as the character’s ultimate ability to produce a powerful healing zone. More heroes were added to the live-service title’s initial 35-character roster, including Moon Knight, Jeff the Land Shark, and Squirrel Girl, but the Fantastic Four duo are popular choices right now.

Duelists playing Mister Fantastic in Marvel Rivals are in for a rewarding battle, as Reed Richards harbors the Stretch Punch and Brainiac Bounce attacks, as well as Reflexive Rubber, the latter of which contributed to the player’s defeat in the clip. After expanding into a rubber target, the opposing player blasted the original poster into a nearby dumpster, and fans couldn’t get enough of the ragdoll animation.
