Marvel Rivals has given streamers early access to an upcoming skin for the Duelist Winter Soldier, which is based on the character's appearance in the upcoming MCU film Thunderbolts*. While there's no way of knowing if more skins from Thunderbolts* will come to Marvel Rivals, many fans were happy to see Sebastian Stan announce the current collaboration. The upcoming movie is scheduled to release on May 2 and follows an unlikely team-up of various anti-heroes from previous Marvel films and television shows.

Ahead of Season 2, NetEase Games revealed that it would be making numerous changes to Winter Soldier in Marvel Rivals. The popular Duelist was removed from the Ammo Overload team-up with Punisher and Rocket Raccoon. Now, he's part of the Stars Aligned team-up with Captain America, which has proven to be pretty powerful. The Stellar Impact ability allows Winter Soldier to disengage with an enemy by hopping to any ally, which is a great way to escape when he's in danger. The team-up is especially useful for Captain America, as it gives him an additional 100 health and a 5% increase to his damage. As a Vanguard, it's important for the iconic hero to have as much health as possible.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games shared that it would be giving streamers early access to a new skin for Marvel Rivals' Winter Soldier, which is modeled after his appearance in the upcoming MCU film Thunderbolts*. The actor Sebastian Stan announced the collaboration and even went as far as to say one of the Duelist's signature lines from the game. Many fans are excited to see Winter Soldier get an MCU skin, as numerous people have been asking NetEase Games to release one since the title's debut.

The popular content creator Miller Ross also shared images of the upcoming skin on his Twitter account, noting that it will be released in the shop on May 1 at 10 PM EDT. According to the preview, players will be able to purchase the bundle for 1,600 Units in Marvel Rivals. The bundle includes a unique costume, emote, nameplate, spray, and MVP screen for Winter Soldier.

Thunderbolts* is also collaborating with Fortnite, as new skins for both Winter Soldier and White Widow are coming to the battle royale. With Season 2 well underway and even more content coming to the popular hero shooter soon, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
