Marvel Rivals players will soon get an opportunity to boost their in-game cosmetics collection, as a recent leak showed concept art from upcoming manga-inspired skins for Marvel’s popular hero shooter. Marvel Rivals regularly introduces new skins and cosmetics to expand customization options for players who want to showcase their favorite characters.

Marvel Rivals is a team-based shooter featuring an extensive roster of Marvel characters, with frequent updates adding new skins and content. Since its release in December 2024, the game has gained popularity for its fast-paced gameplay and diverse hero selection starring popular heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, and the cute-yet-deadly Jeff the Land Shark. As of February 2025, Marvel Rivals had gathered over 40 million players. On top of adding new competitive seasons and regular updates to enhance gameplay, Marvel Rivals often introduces new skins and cosmetics, like the recent addition of a Spider-Punk 2099 skin for Spider-Man.

To celebrate the upcoming release of a new Marvel Comics one-shot titled Marvel Rivals: Ignite #1 in June, Marvel Rivals will allegedly release new skins for Luna Snow, The Punisher, Hela, Spider-Man, and Peni Parker. These comic and upcoming manga skins for Marvel Rivals feature designs by Peach Momoko, with some concept art already leaking on social media. Although there is no confirmed release date for these comics-based skins in Marvel Rivals, the comic will explore a time-traveling adventure through Japan with stories by Japanese artists Yuji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai, and Ryusei Yamada. Each story will feature a different artist’s style, with black-and-white interiors accented by a single offset color unique to each chapter.

Marvel Rivals Will Feature Manga Skins by Peach Momoko

This is not the first time Peach Momoko has collaborated with Marvel. Her interpretation of Psylocke serves as the main version of the character in Marvel Rivals, and she is currently the writer and artist of Ultimate X-Men. Momoko has also created numerous variant covers for cards in Marvel Snap, bringing her signature style to Marvel’s digital collectible card game.

While there is no official release date for the new manga Marvel Rivals skins, players can claim the Will of Galacta Adam Warlock Bundle for free through Twitch drops between March 14, 2025, and April 4, 2025. To participate, players must link their Marvel Rivals account to Twitch and watch streamers with drops enabled. Streams featuring these drops are often labeled with a [DROPS] tag in the title, making it easy for players to collect the rewards while they wait for the next wave of new skins for their favorite character.
