Marvel Rivals Leak Gives New Look at Anticipated Skin Line

A Marvel Rivals leak has revealed a new look at the anticipated swimsuit skins. Marvel Rivals often adds skins that are related to Marvel movies or comics. It will be no different with the swimsuit skins, which will feature outfits based on a classic comic book.

For those unfamiliar, Marvel Swimsuit Special was an annual comic published from 1991 to 1995 that showed the more relaxed side of Marvel heroes and villains by dressing them in swimsuits. Unlike the stories of epic conflicts, the special is all about beaches and other sunny places, showcasing the artists' talent in creating costumes different from what fans usually see. Almost 30 years later, it was announced in April that the Swimsuit Special is returning this year, and that Marvel Rivals will receive swimsuit skins. Now, a leak brings even more good news for players of NetEase's shooter.

On the Marvel Rivals Leaks subreddit, user ISRUKRENG posted artwork of the upcoming swimsuit skins. Psylocke wears a pink and green bikini and sandals, and several butterflies referencing the powers of the Marvel Rivals Duelist. The sheath of her katana has a green and yellow design, with a fish-shaped charm. Luna Snow appears in a long-sleeved swimsuit, one black and one white, with pendants on her ankles that also reference her powers. The outfit has flower details on the shoulders, and Luna wears a headset, sunglasses, long hair, and bangs.

New Marvel Rivals Leak Shares Sneak Peek at Upcoming Swimsuit Skins

The design of the male characters features the Punisher wearing swim trunks with his trademark skull, a bottle of juice attached to them, and a towel with skulls thrown over his back. Even the weapons that the Punisher uses in Marvel Rivals have got a completely different design, looking more like NERF guns. Thor appears in black swim trunks, a bag with dolls of himself and Loki, and a necklace with a Mjolnir pendant. Loki received the fanciest swimsuit, with red sunglasses, swim trunks, sandals, and a flashy robe in the colors of the god of mischief.

There is still no official word from NetEase on when the swimsuit skins will be added to the game. However, another leak lists them as part of the skins coming in Marvel Rivals Season 3, which begins on July 11. Additionally, The Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, Rivals #1 will be released Wednesday, July 9, raising players' hopes that it won't be long before the devs finally reveal when the skins and their related cosmetics will be available.
