Marvel Rivals' upcoming balancing changes have hit one character hard, and fans can't seem to agree if that's for better or worse.

A recent leak shared by dataminer X0X_LEAK lists several unannounced heroes that may be in development for future Marvel Rivals seasons. The characters include Blade, Phoenix, Professor X, Gambit, Rogue, Daredevil, and a new unannounced tank. NetEase hasn’t confirmed any of these additions, but if the leak proves true it would bring a variety of new heroes to Marvel Rivals. However, some players are disappointed not to see Cyclops, Jubilee, or villains like Sandman, Kingpin, or Sabretooth teased by this leak, leaving them to wonder if they will ever join the roster of Marvel Rivals.

Leaked New Marvel Rivals Characters

  • Blade
  • Phoenix
  • Professor X
  • Gambit
  • Rogue
  • Daredevil
  • Unannounced tank

The tank role mentioned in the post may point toward Armor, a character previously hinted at by X0X_LEAK in a separate Marvel Rivals leak. According to their information, Armor would be a Vanguard hero, with her gameplay focusing on melee combat with the ability to transform her psionic armor at will. The new Marvel Rivals tank could also be Colossus, who was rumored to join NetEase’s team-based shooter and have synergies with Wolverine. Since Marvel Rivals hasn’t yet announced the next Vanguard to join its roster, fans can only speculate about which character may fill this role.

While they wait for the official announcement of the next heroes to join Marvel Rivals, players are turning their attention to the launch of Season 2.5. This major update introduces a new map called Hellfire Gala: Arakko, additional skins, a new mood and emoji systems in-game, as well as a variety of balance changes. It also marks the debut of Ultron in Marvel Rivals, a new Strategist able to fly around the battlefield. Players can also collect the Galacta's Will Twitch drop bundle featuring Emma Frost by watching affiliated channels.
