Marvel Rivals Leak Reveals Return of Ultra Rare Skins

A prominent Marvel Rivals leaker reveals that two ultra rare skins could be coming back to the store in NetEase Games' popular hero shooter.

In a recent post on Reddit, DynamoDen_ posted an image of Marvel Rivals' Thor and Jeff the Land Shark stating that the two characters were being nerfed for no reason. Within the notes detailing upcoming balance changes, NetEase Games revealed that Thor would be taking a hit to his survivability. The developers decreased the amount of shields gained from expending Thorforce and lessened the amount of bonus health one can receive. Jeff the Land Shark received a full rework, changing the way some of his abilities function. Unfortunately, a lot of people commenting on the changes feel that he'll be significantly weaker. Many gamers questioned why the heroes were receiving such changes in the first place, as a large portion of the community felt they seemed fairly balanced within the game's meta.

Marvel Rivals’ Thor and Jeff the Land Shark Are Being Reworked

NetEase Games did reveal that Jeff the Land Shark will be getting two new team-ups in Marvel Rivals. Once the upcoming update launches, Jeff the Land Shark will be able to combine his ultimate ability with Storm's to create a deadly tornado with Jeff at the center. The Strategist will also be getting a team-up ability with the Vanguard Venom, which will allow Jeff to heal nearby allies by making use of symbiote tendrils. Unfortunately, Jeff will no longer have a team-up ability with Luna Snow, which has disappointed some gamers who made regular use of their abilities.

The popular villain Ultron will also be joining Marvel Rivals as a playable character, which has excited many fans. A recent character trailer showed off the flying Strategist's ability kit, which seemed to be fairly versatile. From the footage that was shown, it seems as if Ultron can summon copies of himself with his ultimate ability. Once summoned, the Ultrons fire explosives in unison, dealing a significant amount of damage to enemies and healing allies in the blast. It seems to be very different from the ultimate abilities of most Strategists. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many gamers are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
