The Human Torch's Duelist Abilities In Marvel Rivals
- Fire Cluster: Launch forward a spittable fireball.
- Omega Fire: Storm can consume one of Human Torch's fire tornadoes into her Ultimate to ignite her hurricane. Likewise, Human Torch can turn Storm's hurricane into a fiery hurricane with his ultimate, which will then enlarge and intensify any fire tornadoes caught in its path.
- Supernova: Unleash shock waves to damage enemies within range. During skill activation, the flame field will transform into a fire tornado.
- Plasma Body: Enter a state of accelerated ascent.
- Pyro-Prison: Connect flame fields to form a fire wall that deals burning damage to enemies.
- Flaming Meteor: Dive toward the ground and stun nearby enemies.
- Blazing Blast: Launch a fireball to create a flame field in the targeted area.
The Thing's Vanguard Abilities In Marvel Rivals
For those looking to get into the tank style of The Thing, here is his skill breakdown:
- Combination Punch: Quick and continuous punches.
- Solid As A Rock: Immune to knockback and other displacement effects.
- Slam Moment: Uses tremendous force to knock all enemies in front of you into the air.
- Thunderbolt Punch: Deliver a devastating punch.
- Furious Charge: Continuously charge forward, lifting up enemies in your path, leaving behind a seismic zone that prohibits displacement.
- Battlefield Support: Jump toward teammates and add damage reduction to them and yourself.
As can be seen by these breakdowns, the Human Torch is classified as a Duelist, which means he will excel at dealing consistent damage, while The Thing is a Vanguard who can absorb a lot of damage and attention from opponents.
