With the Hellfire Gala being featured on the mutant island of Krakoa, Marvel Rivals has shown a lot of love to the mutant characters by giving them numerous skins. Since Emma Frost is the host of this event, she leads the X-Men with style against Ultron's invasion. One of the most iconic mutants finally has their Hellfire Gala skin in the game for players to earn for free. Here is how to get the Patch skin for Wolverine.

How to Get the Patch Skin for Wolverine in Marvel Rivals

Wolverine's Patch skin is a newly added cosmetic for the iconic mutant that is free to earn for all players. Until May 23rd, players can complete a series of challenges broken down into three different acts. Once all three are completed, you will unlock the Patch skin and a plethora of other cosmetics to go along with it for Wolverine.

Each act has several challenges for players to complete, with all of them being relatively simple and can be completed simply by playing the game. For example, the challenges in Act 1 are:

Get 50 eliminations
Heal 50,000 health
Complete 15 matches

All challenges listed can only be completed in Quick Play, Competitive, or Practice Versus AI. Doom Matches or other game modes will not count towards their progression.

After you complete these three challenges, Act 2 will unlock for you the day after you complete Act 1. Once you enter Act 2, you will be given similar challenges to complete, but these trials will reward you with a certain amount of Hellfire Tokens, a new temporary currency that can be used to claim rewards. These rewards include things like the MVP animation for Wolverine's Patch skin and an emote for Emma Frost where she uses the iconic Cerebro helmet. After you have claimed all the rewards available in this act, Act 3 will unlock similarly to how Act 2 was unlocked.

Act 3 is more interactive, with a community-based voting contest put in place. Challenges will be assigned to you once again, and this time, they will grant you a Voting Ticket upon completing them. You can use this ticket to vote for who you think has the best Hellfire Gala outfit. Those characters are:

Emma Frost
Black Panther
Scarlet Witch
Wolverine
Cloak and Dagger
Captain America
Hulk

Whoever wins this contest by the end of the Patch event will also be given a new skin. The details of this skin are still unknown at this time.

After you place your vote, you will have successfully completed every challenge tied to the three Acts of this limited-time event. You can then claim your Patch skin for Wolverine.
