NetEase Games recently gave Marvel Rivals players their first look at gameplay of the new Yami no Karasu skin for the popular Duelist Hela. Marvel Rivals is currently in the middle of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, which added the Vanguard Emma Frost to the title's ever-expanding roster and teased the addition of Ultron in a future update. This is similar to the way The Thing and Human Torch followed the debut of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.
The popular hero shooter courted a bit of controversy recently when NetEase Games added a fourth currency to Marvel Rivals. The Unstable Molecules currency gives players the ability to buy new styles for some of their existing skins. While many fans were initially happy to hear about the addition of the highly requested character customization feature, a large portion of the community immediately turned sour after hearing about Unstable Molecules. As of writing, the only way to acquire the new currency is to trade it for Lattice, which is the game's premium currency. NetEase Games has said there will be more ways to earn Unstable Molecules in the future, but hasn't shared any further details.
Marvel Rivals Announces Giant-Size Brain Blast Game Mode
Marvel Rivals announces that a new Giant-Size Brain Blast game mode is coming to NetEase Games' popular hero shooter in the near future.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a first look at gameplay of an upcoming skin for the Duelist Hela, which will arrive in the shop on April 24 at 7 PM PDT. The new Yami no Karasu skin for Hela in Marvel Rivals is inspired by the popular location Kirisaki Mountain, and the outfit was designed by the talented concept artist Peach Momoko. The skin shows Hela with pale green skin and an olive-colored cape. She's also sporting a white outfit with her signature large headdress.

In addition, the Strategist Loki will be receiving a new skin in Marvel Rivals, which has also been designed by Peach Momoko. The Shin Sagi-Shi costume is scheduled to make its debut in the shop on April 24, but there's no official word on how much either skin will cost. However, according to leakers, the new Loki skin will be priced at 2,200 Units and Hela's costume will be sold for 1,600 Units.
Marvel Rivals' April 24 update will also add a new game mode called Giant-Size Brain Blast to the popular hero shooter. Unlike previous game modes, this one doesn't feature any particular gameplay gimmick. Instead, all the heroes take on a bobble-head appearance, sporting oversized heads that look very silly while running around and fighting. The teaser trailer showed off heroes like Iron Man, Venom, and Spider-Man, but every character will be able to participate in the new game mode, which is scheduled to launch on April 25. With a fresh update to enjoy and even more content on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
