Marvel Rivals has finally revealed all 33 characters that will make up its launch roster. After a successful beta, Overwatch competitor Marvel Rivals is getting ready to launch to the masses. When the game releases on Friday, December 6, it will be bringing a sizable roster of 33 Marvel characters with it.
The Marvel Rivals roster has grown significantly since the beta, with characters like Captain America, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and the Winter Soldier confirmed for the lineup. Still, fans have been waiting for NetEase to properly reveal all the characters that would be in the hero shooter at launch, and now it finally has thanks to the game's launch trailer.
The newly-released Marvel Rivals launch trailer gives fans a cinematic look at the various characters that have been revealed so far, as well as five new additions. It's now been confirmed that the Marvel Rivals roster will feature Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger (as a single playable character), Iron Fist, Squirrel Girl, and fan favorite Wolverine at launch.

Black Widow, Iron Fist, and Wolverine likely need no introduction, but there may be some fans who aren't aware of characters like Squirrel Girl and Cloak and Dagger. Squirrel Girl has a furry tail, powerful teeth, the ability to communicate with squirrels, superhuman strength, and various other abilities tied to her squirrel gimmick. Cloak and Dagger, meanwhile, are a unique superhero duo with abilities that complement each other well. Cloak is able to teleport using "darkforce" and Dagger is able to create daggers using "lightforce." Needless to say, they should make rather unique additions to the Marvel Rivals lineup.
Now that all the playable characters have been revealed, the next step is for Marvel Rivals to release to the masses. Marvel Rivals is set to launch on December 6, and it's bringing with it 33 playable characters and nine maps. Marvel Rivals maps include locations based on Wakanda, Asgard, and more, with eight maps for the standard game modes and one of them built for the Conquest mode. This is significantly more content than was in the Marvel Rivals beta, with even more planned for the future. All future Marvel Rivals characters and maps will be added completely free of charge, which should ensure fans regularly have something new to experience in the game.
