After discussing the location in a recent developer diary, NetEase Games has finally given players their first look at the upcoming Central Park map in Marvel Rivals. The developers have announced that players will be able to do battle in the iconic location when it makes its debut as part of Marvel Rivals' major mid-season update on February 21.

In addition to a new map, gamers will soon be able to play as Human Torch and The Thing in Marvel Rivals. As a flying Duelist, Human Torch has the ability to burn enemies from above and create walls of flame on the battlefield. He even has a unique team-up with Storm, which allows them to create flaming tornadoes to use against their enemies. Meanwhile, The Thing is a Vanguard with a robust health pool and the ability to shove aside enemies while rushing into fights. He can even slam down on the ground, manipulating the terrain around him and damaging nearby structures.

As the camera moves inward, fans can see large gothic statues and winding staircases throughout the building. Dracula can even be seen casting a ritual to ensnare the god Ratatoskr on the map. Finally, at the very end of the footage, players can get a first look at Blade in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals Shows off Central Park and Blade

While there's very little official information about Blade in Marvel Rivals, dataminers have managed to leak several abilities the character may have when he eventually makes his debut. According to rumors, Blade may have a transformation similar to that of Magik, giving him the ability to tap into his full vampiric abilities. Leakers have also claimed that he'll be able to see enemies through walls, allowing him to track foes at all times. While fans have now been given their first look at Blade in-game, there's still no word on when he could make his debut as a playable character.

NetEase Games has announced that it intends to add a new Marvel Rivals hero every six weeks, which means fans may not have to wait long to play as the infamous vampire hunter. There's no official start date for Season 2, but it's likely NetEase Games will release more information near the end of March. With so much content just around the corner and even more slated for the future, many fans are feeling optimistic about the longevity of Marvel Rivals.
