Marvel Rivals Brain Blast Event Schedule and Rewards

The Giant-Size Brain Blast event in Marvel Rivals adds a fun new "big-head" mode to the game for a limited time, and players can earn a free emote for a hero of their choosing if they participate. Just like previous Marvel Rivals events, though, there are only a few specific windows where the new mode will be live. Players don't have much time to claim their free emote and other Giant-Size Brain Blast rewards.

Marvel Rivals has been stepping up its event game lately with hugely popular modes like Clone Rumble, and now there are even more cosmetics to unlock in the Giant-Size Brain Blast event. The Giant-Size Brain Blast mode is basically regular Marvel Rivals, but with bigger heads on all the player models. There are funny sounds for headshots, too, so it's a silly, laid-back way for players to score some free stuff.

Marvel Rivals Giant-Size Brain Blast Event Schedule

The Giant-Size Brain Blast mode will only be available for two weekends in Marvel Rivals. The mode will first be playable from Friday, April 25 through Monday, April 28. Then, it will be retired until the following weekend. The second and final event window lasts from Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 5. These are the only two weekends when players can enjoy Giant-Size Brain Blast in Marvel Rivals.

While the game mode itself is only live at certain times, players can still claim their event rewards at any time before the second weekend comes to a close. If players complete enough matches to earn the free emote during the first weekend, but they forget to claim it while the mode is active, they can still claim the emote during the week. It's the same thing as Clone Rumble, which was only playable at certain times.

How to Get the Free Brain Blast Emote in Marvel Rivals

There are multiple rewards up for grabs during the Giant-Size Brain Blast Marvel Rivals event, but the one everyone is after is the Brain Blast emote. To claim it, players only have to complete 10 matches of Giant-Size Brain Blast. Then, they can unlock the emote for any character on the roster. Only one character can receive the emote during this event, so choose wisely.

There are also a handful of titles to claim during the Giant-Size Brain Blast event, but only the most elite Marvel Rivals players will be able to get them. Every hero will have a leaderboard that ranks everyone based on their performance in the limited-time mode, and players in the top 500 will be rewarded with exclusive titles for those heroes. The top 500 players on a hero leaderboard will earn the "Giant-Sized-Brain" title for that hero, the top 100 players will get the "Monster-Sized-Brain" title, and the top 10 will get the "Planet-Sized-Brain" title. Again, these are hero-specific, so the titles will have the name of the character tacked onto the end as well.

The Giant-Size Brain Blast event looks like a ton of fun in Marvel Rivals, so players should jump in and claim their free rewards while they still can. It's unknown if these Marvel Rivals emotes will hit the in-game store in the future like the Venom twerking emote, so it's better to be safe than sorry.
