Mario Kart Tour  has just introduced its Jungle Tour update, which adds some new characters and carts to the game. Of note, players will notice that both Dixie Kong and Funky Kong are available as racers now, but that isn't all that the recent update is adding to the game.

Players can now gain access to a new kart as well, called the Rambi Rider kart. This is clearly based on Rambi Rhino, one of the friendly animals which helps Donkey Kong out in many of his games, first appearing in Donkey Kong Country  and now again in Mario Kart Tour.

The Rambi Rider kart has the Rocket Start Plus ability, which increases rocket start boost time as well as grants more points for performing one. There are other karts with this ability, so it is by no means exclusive, but it will still be quite useful. Additionally, the Rambi Rider kart is a super rare kart.

Unfortunately, getting these characters and the kart are locked behind loot box-like paywalls, meaning there is no guarantee that they will be easily attainable. Sad as it is, this is just the reality of mobile games. Still, that doesn't mean that it is impossible to get them without spending money, just that it takes quite a bit longer.

Mario Kart Tour  is available now for Mobile.
