However, MAPPA decided to take a different approach by adapting the next arc in a movie. It is titled Chainsaw Man— The Movie: Reze Arc. The movie was announced in 2023 without a release date. During the Jump Festa 2025, it was confirmed that Chainsaw Man— The Movie: Reze Arc will air in 2025. Once again, the studio did not provide an exact release date, but that might change soon as Chainsaw Man has a stage at the upcoming AnimeJapan 2025. The series will likely disclose the release date on March 23, 2025.

Chainsaw Man— The Movie Reze Arc is slated for a 2025 release. While an exact date has not been shared, the movie is likely to be released in Fall 2025. After making fans wait for such a long time, MAPPA wouldn't want to rush and release something underwhelming.

Aside from Chainsaw Man, MAPPA is also working on other projects, including a Jujutsu Kaisen compilation movie. It will adapt the Hidden Inventory arc, which primarily focuses on Gojo Satoru's past and his friendship with Suguru Geto. The movie is set to premiere in May 2025, so MAPPA will likely share a new trailer or a teaser for the project. The studio is also handling Dorohedoro Season 2 and Lazarus.

What Other Anime Will Be Present At AnimeJapan 2025?

AnimeJapan 2025 will be held towards the end of March. To be more specific, it will be held on March 22 and 23. The event will feature some of the biggest and most popular anime.
