Bandits might be one of the most frustrating adversaries you'll encounter as a ruler in Manor Lords. Bandits, unlike raiders, do not cause harm to the village or its inhabitants. However, they may steal valuable resources right under your nose.
This might be frustrating when you've just started the game and are attempting to manage your village's resources effectively. If not dealt with, bandits might steal several resources from your inventory, such as food or building materials, thwarting your route to ultimate triumph.
Manor Lords: How To Remove Dead Bodies
Removing dead bodies in Manor Lords is important to keep your Approval Rating high. For this task, you need to build a Wooden Church and Corpse Pit.
How to Stop Bandits from Stealing
If Bandit Camps have shown up on your map, there is no way to prevent them from stealing unless you gather your army and beat the bandits in combat. Many players believe that they will not steal from your territory if the Bandit Camp is not in your neighboring region. However, this assumption is incorrect, as bandits from any place on the map can continue to take precious resources from your camp.
Bandit Camps will also continue to spawn in random areas over time; thus, you must act before the number of camps reaches a critical level since this can pose significant problems when managing your resources.
Bandits are poorly trained warriors with low-quality armor and weaponry; therefore, beating them in battle will be easy. Furthermore, raiding and destroying a bandit camp will earn you Regional Wealth and increase your Influence.
Regional Wealth is the primary currency used in all transactions inside your village in Manor Lords, and to win the game, Influence is required to raid and conquer other territories. Thus, both of these benefits will considerably aid your advancement in the game, and a Bandit Camp is one of the simplest methods to get Regional Wealth and Influence.
A bandit camp normally shelters 10-15 bandits, so you won't need a large force to defeat one. Ensure that all of your men are fully equipped with weapons, shields, and, if feasible, helmets. When you're ready to take on the bandits, gather your troops and march them to the bandit camp.
As soon as you approach the bandit camp region, they will attack your militia. If you have a spear militia, the most effective approach to beat the bandits is to keep them stationary near the enemy camp and wait for the opponents to assault.
How to Stop Bandit Camp Spawn
Bandit Camps may sprout exponentially over time, and before you know it, you'll have many bandit camps scattered over the area. This is not an ideal situation if the village is still in its early stages of growth. More bandits equals more theft and more resources lost. However, the quantity of bandits on the map may be controlled using the difficulty settings.
When you first start the game, you will see two choices for controlling the number of bandit camps in the difficulty settings menu: Initial Bandit Camps and Random Bandit Camp Spawn Limit.
After starting a settlement, you cannot adjust the difficulty settings. To modify the settings, start a new game.
The initial bandit camp number determines how many bandit camps will spawn at the start; beginning with 0, you can opt to have up to 5 camps straight away. More bandit camps equals more obstacles, therefore if you want a reasonably peaceful gameplay experience with the bandits, leave it at 0.
Next, the Random Bandit Camp Spawn Limit determines how many bandit camps may spawn at once. You can set the values to 0, 3, or 5. If you don't want to deal with bandit camps, set the value to 0 so that no bandit camps ever appear.
