Rotating Buildings Vs Burgage Plots

Not all structures follow the same system of rotation in Manor Lords. For instance, Burgage Plots are rotated after drawing their outlines. On the other hand, structures like Sawpits and Logging Camps are rotated while placing them.

Why Rotate Structures?

There are a couple of reasons why players might want to rotate builds in Manor Lords:

Placement Efficiency: The ability to rotate structures to even a smaller degree allows for thousands of unique, non-conventional designs. How To Rotate Buildings In Manor Lords

Use the tool tip to select the desired building from the "Construction" menu, but don’t place it on the ground yet.
While holding the left mouse button, move the mouse to the left, or to the right, to adjust the degree of rotation.
After achieving the desired rotation, release the mouse button to begin the structure's construction.

How To Rotate Burgage Plots

Rotating burgage plots is different from rotating other structures. To effectively rotate a burgage plot, players can follow the detailed steps listed below:

Use the tool tip to select Burgage Plot from the "Construction" menu.
Using the same tool tip, draw the area for burgage construction.
Connect all four quadrants of the Burgage Plot before clicking the curved arrow to rotate the plot.
Once the desired rotation is achieved, click the brown hammer icon to order the plot’s construction.

Unlike other structures, Burgage Plots can only rotate in the four cardinal directions (north, east, south, and west).
