Which Knife To Get In Mafia: The Old Country
Upon getting the task of buying a knife from Pasquale’s store in Mafia: The Old Country mission, players can choose from three types of knives:

All knives can break locks and perform stealth kills, at the cost of one Durability. Generally, you can strangle the enemy to down them, but the struggle QTE takes a few seconds, while a knife kill is instant. Stealth kill is perfect for when you only have a few seconds before someone sees you, but be mindful about the loss of Durability.
Both Knife Throw Takedowns and Combat Takedowns consume one Durability upon use. Sharpening a knife requires a Whetstone, which isn't always available on the battlefield, even with frequent looting. Therefore, while useful, these abilities are meant to help in tight situations, but not as a primary way to kill enemies.
Knife Throw Takedowns (Scannaturi) - Mafia: The Old Country
The Scannaturi knives can perform Knife Throw Takedowns, meaning players can throw the knife to kill an enemy. The action is context-based, so the crosshair and button to press will appear when the condition for a knife throw is fulfilled.
Players who pre-purchased the game will have immediate access to Scannaturi Speciale Knife, which can heal Enzo after a Knife Throw Takedown, on top of having an increased throw range.
Knife Combat Takedowns (Rasolu) - Mafia: The Old Country
The Rasolu can't be thrown to beat enemies, but players can use it to do Combat Takedowns. Combat Takedown in Mafia: The Old Country is when you approach an enemy and immediately kill them (without sneaking). This knife is perfect for when someone approaches Enzo, such as enemies who wield shotguns.
Knife Durability (Stilleto) - Mafia: The Old Country
The Stiletto in Mafia: The Old Country doesn't have special abilities, but is instead equipped with a higher Durability. This means you can perform more stealth kills or break more locks, perfect for players who are seeking to maximize their Dinari income.
Deluxe Edition buyers will get a free Stiletto Speciale Knife, which has the top six Durability points, on top of improving the Loot mechanics when performing a Stealth Takedown (stealth kill).
